Default Calendar date format

Does anyone know how to set the date so that I can have the date
PLUS the day of the week in Outlook Calendar, in the weekly view? And still
get the complete date in the task pane.
I'm running Windows XP and Office 2003 for students and teachers.
Thanks for reading this.
