Default How to make reminder sounds all the time?

First of all, I'm trying to find a simple hardware machien where it will
allow me to type in appointments and reminds me just like an alarm
o'clock. I can't any so far so I'm thinking of using my old laptop with
MS Outlook's calendar feature since it does everything I need. The
problem is, once Outlook pops up with a reminder, it stops reminding
until you snooze it. What I want Outlook to do is kept sounding until
someone dimiss the appointment or snooze it. So is ther a way to make
Outlook reminder make a sound until someone turns of the reminder?

Some PDAs are relatively inexpensive. My watch can do some of that.

I don't think that's possible in Outlook.

Many thanks for the response. I could use a PDA but my goal is not for
personal use. I want to have it so that everyone in the family can
access and have one central calendar for putting their appointments. I
was thinking that Outlook is the perfect software for that...until I
couldn't figure out how to make the reminder beep until someone dismiss
or snooze it.

Is there some software out there that will do that? Perhaps I may have
to create it myself.

Reminders will remain on your desktop until you dismiss or snooze them. The
icon in the taskbar will continue to flash until you click the reminder
window (I think - I've never purposely ignored one). However, there's no
way to play a sound continually, that I'm aware.
