Default I need to setup some wierd stuff in tasks

Hi all,

I need to do the following, and just cant figure it out.

1. Set up a new task for a person or a group of people.
2. The sender needs to be able to view the progress of all tasks easily
3. No one is supposed to see the tasks he sends to specific users
4. Everyone is supposed to see the tasks he sends to specific groups, (from
those groups) (There might also be some overlap here between individual
permissions and group permissions)
5. Sender needs notification everytime the task status has been updated.

I know this sounds like a lot, but I have figured out a little on my own,
and browzing the online help indexes.

On the things I need to do above, I am this far:
1. I can set up a task for an individual, or add more than one person to a
task, but that's where Outlook starts to restrict me, telling me that my copy
of the task wont be updated?!? - Big Problemo
2.Setting up share permissions is going to be granular, I think I just need
to figure out a heierarchy and create groups to make this a reality! I think
this gets done by dumping all the tasks into a shared folder on the exchange
server??
3. Permissions I will figure out as soon as I have some more basics inline.
4. Right, this is where it gets complicated. Lets say I send a task to John,
and I want myself, and Mary notified of the progress, and completion, how the
Holy Canary do I do that??????

Please help, I just cant seem to get to the next step!!!! (Which is really
the number 5 from above!)

Thanks in advance, and look forward to the ensuing discussions.

Regards
