Default Automatic Calendar entry from E-Mail Using Macros?

Hi Folks,

I'd like to be able to automatically enter and remove calendar entries based
on the content of an e-mail received by a public folder. This is primarily
to control staff holidays and automate the process so that no human
intervention is required other than checking who has what left in the way of
days.

Any Pointers appreciated so I don't re-invent the wheel!

Cheers

J

I am looking into something similar.
There is a file type .ics that can be imported into a calendar
see
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ICalendar
I have been able to construct a test file and import it successfully,
however it goes into my mailbox calendar, not the shared one.
I believe an attachment of type .ics will be loaded into the calendar
if emailed to the calendar folder address - but I havn't tested this
yet.
You can create a calendar entry and export it as .ics to check the file
format
