Default Sharing a Secondary Calendar

I have created a secondary calendar that I would like to share without
sharing my primary calendar. We are on an exchange server. I have followed
the setting of permissions guidlines, but I seem to be only able to share my
primary calendar. I am sure I am missing a step, but am unable to find it.
Any help or advice is greatly appreciated.

Default Sharing a Secondary Calendar

To access a shared folder that isn't one of the folders listed on the File | Open | Other User's Folder dialog, the mailbox owner needs to grant "folder visible" permission to the root of the mailbox and any other parent folders of the shared folder, as well as appropriate permission -- at least Reviewer -- on the shared folder itself.

The user who needs access then goes into Tools | E-mail Accounts or Tools | Services (depending on the Outlook version), brings up the properties for the Exchange Server service, and on the Advanced tab, adds the mailbox.

For more information on folder permissions, with how-to screen shots, see http://www.howto-outlook.com/howto/permissions.htm and http://office.microsoft.com/assistan...HA011134811033

Default Sharing a Secondary Calendar

I followed the instrucitons below about a year ago and they worked great.
NOW I am attempting to create another calendar with the same owner, and the
same sharees, plus one more. The original sharees can see the second
calendar just fine. The additional person cannot. They can see the Mailbox
of the owner, and the owner's calendar, but not the shared calendar. They
are set up the same way as the others. What could be the problem? Thanks
for any suggestions you can offer.

PS: interestingly, the shared calenders show up under "My calendar" on my
computer (I am not the owner), but the owner's calender shows up (minus the
shared calendart we are looking for) under "Other Calenders" for the new
sharee, NOT under "My calendars". I do not know if this has anything to do
with it. Thanks.
