My guess is that you have a DELL PC which had Microsoft Office 2003
preinstalled? See the earlier reporting of this problem on 12/14/2006 for
details. Unfortunately cant tell you the solution as trying to find anyone in
DELL to talk to let alone someone who is willing to investigate the problem
is next to impossible.

Hi Michael,

If you have a Dell PC you will probably find that you have a preinstalled
program called “outlookaddinsetup”. I don't know what it is supposed to do
but I found when I uninstalled it the recurrence problem was cured. A number
of other people have uninstalled it and it has cured the problem for them as
well with no noticeable side-effects.

Regards, Graeme
