It sounds like you may have Autoarchive turned on. Turn it off at Tools |
options | Other | autoarchive - just un tick the top box. You can also see what it was set to do at this point - it probably wasn't deleting (depends what it was set to do) and is in archive.pst folder. If you have an IT manager in this law firm, go get a bit of help their - it won't take them long to help you sort it out. You can even get the old meetings back into your Calendar from the Archive if needed. I hope this helps you at least a little bit!
