Default OWA to local Outlook to asssit in sync with PDA

In the past week I've been to 100's of sites, subscribed to three forumns
called MS and Palm help desks, emailed our IT consultant and wrote countless
emails, PM's and the such and just can not get a straight answer (or at least
one that I can understand).

My story: new Palm T|X trying to sync calendar info from Microsoft Outlook
Web Access (I have tried to include a screenshot of page after I have logged
in). My T|X sync's wonderfully with my local Outlook, but how do I get the
company data from the calendar into Palm Desktop of local Outlook? Even if I
just cut /paste a file once a day I'm OK with that. Please help!

If this is "too Palmy", can anyone tell me how to get calendar data (our
company uses a public folder then has a shared calendar for all employees to
list activities) onto my local outlook? Once I get the data there I can sync
it no probelmo. Thanks.

You cannot sync Microsoft Outlook Web Access as it is simply a web browser view of your Exchange mailbox. You would need to synch directly against the mailbox. Ask your Exchange Admin if this is allowed for a personal device. Odds are it is not and you are simply out of luck.

Let me propose option #2, is there anyway to copy data from the web access
calendar to my local outlook? Is there a .pst file (or something like that)
that I could copy once a day to my PC? I do have access to the server
through our VPN (not sure what rights I have), but maybe this is a way to
circumvent the whole sync issue. Thanks for your reply.

Connect your local Outlook to the Exchange server and copy the data. As
Milly says, OWA cannot access anything on your local machine.

Is there a .pst file (or
something like that) that I could copy once a day to my PC?

OWA does not use any storage whatsoever on your hard drive except for the
Temporary Internet Files cache that IE always uses.

I do
have access to the server through our VPN (not sure what rights I
have), but maybe this is a way to circumvent the whole sync issue.

Then connect to the server and configure either Cached Exchange Mode or
Offline Folders (depending on your Outlook version) so that you can access
the data when not connected.
