Thanks Diane, yep have spoken to Motorola, HP , Cingular, as per all of them
no issues with their products. Motorola customer service person specifically told me that there is no setting on the phone to be adjusted, it just takes what it gets. regards SK "Diane Poremsky [MVP]" wrote: it sounds like the phone is not properly handling the time zone stamps on appointments. Outlook uses UTC on the appointment and the computers time zone to display
the correct time for your area. It sounds like the device is taking the UTC time and not applying it's time zone to the things it gets from outlook. Assuming the device's time and time zone are correct, there a mobile newsgroup on this same server and the experts there could tell you if you have something misconfigured. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Author, Teach Yourself Outlook 2003 in 24 Hours Need Help with Common Tasks? http://www.outlook-tips.net/beginner/ Outlook 2007: http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/ol2007/ Outlook Tips by email: Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Subscribe to Exchange Messaging Outlook newsletter: "SK" wrote in message ...
