Default Can limited space be increased?

I need to be able to write longer descriptions of my appointments, such as
driving directions. I seem to be limited to 2 lines. Is there anyway that
can be increased?

Why are you not using the Notes area for this?

Hi, Milly, thanks for your response. 2 reasons: First, I usually print out
the calendar in the morning to take on my appointments, with directions and
things... It would be a lot more convenient to have everything on 1 page,
and not have to print out extra pages... Second, sometimes I use the
calendar for my to-do list. Right now, I'm using 1 line for each task, but
it would nice to be able to open up 1 box for 2 or 3 hours and use up the
whole space. I take it there's no way to increase the number of characters?
