Default Re-Scheduled events move back to original date

I have the following scenario, using Outlook 2003 with Exchange 2003.
The issue affects two executives using Outlook 2003. Their assistants will
schedule a meeting for the two of them, then at a later date, reschedules
the event. The re-scheduled event will correctly update on both exec's
calendar, but then move back to the original date on one of the exec's
calendar.

Can anybody provide some insight to this or how to test where the problem
may be?

Thank you,

Attila
