Default using calendarwork week - current day highlighted/brighter

it would be nice to have the current day highlighted or brighter when
displaying the calendar using work week display

Today's date IS highlighted when you display the calendar, in ANY
day/week/month view, as far as I can tell. The bar containing the date will
be a different color. An example is attached.
