Ken,
Thanks for being so helpful to everyone! I tried your suggested technique, but it didn't help. Do I need to shut down the computer or Outlook after doing that, before it works? They used to work, but stopped recently, and none of the help desk folks here on Robins AFB can seem to fix it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

Outlook should be shut down before running the command to start it in the
Start, Run dialog of course. Other than that you shouldn't have to do anything. If that doesn't work then I'd suggest in order: 1. Close Outlook and find ScanPST.exe using Windows Explorer. You might have to show hidden and system files and folders to see it. Make sure you know the location of your PST file so you can point ScanPST to it. Run ScanPST 3 times or until it doesn't find any errors. After that start Outlook again using the same /resetfolders and /cleanreminders switches. 2. If that doesn't work close Outlook. Then create a new profile. Do not copy the existing one. Point the new profile at your existing PST file as the data source. Use the Mail applet in the Control Panel to add a new profile. You will need the settings for your email accounts. 3. If that doesn't work set Outlook to use a new PST file instead of the existing one. If reminders work there then open the existing PST in Outlook and copy everything from that to the new one. Do not import. -- Ken Slovak [MVP - Outlook] http://www.slovaktech.com Author: Absolute Beginner's Guide to Microsoft Office Outlook 2003 Reminder Manager, Extended Reminders, Attachment Options http://www.slovaktech.com/products.htm "Envcat" wrote in message ...
