Default Active Taks for Selected Days

I have a customer that just moved from Outlook 2003 to Outlook 2007, and is
missing the "Active Tasks for Selected Days" option that is under View
Taskpad View in Outlook 2003. After spending awhile trying to find an
equilivent way to create the same functionality via custom filters/sort
orders, etc.

The TaskPad has been replaced by the To Do Bar in Outlook 2007. Have you
tried customizing the view there? I believe the Active Tasks for Selected
Days view simply had filters set to show only uncompleted items due today or
earlier.

Jocelyn,

Thanks for your response. I was able to do some of what your talking about
to re-create the original functionality. However, the Outlook 2003
functionality limited the "tasks lists" to items that were due on the
selected date... and wouldn't just show the same list regardless of what day
was selected.

John, you are right. Another Outlook MVP and I have been researching this
and we have not found a way to recreate it either. If we find a solution or
workaround, we'll probably get it posted on Slipstick.com and/or
Outlook-Tips.net.
