Somehow, a reminder for Jan 01, 1601, 12am has been entered into Outlook 2003.
SP2 has been applied as well as all XP updates.
The reminder pops up everyday and can't be removed or edited. When the
attemp is made, the msg appears: "Can't open this item. You must specify a
valid date and/or time. Check you entries in this dialog box to make sure
they represent a valid date and/or time."
I hit OK, and am back where I started. SCANPST.EXE doesn't fix anything in
this regard.
Any suggestions are appreciated.

What /cleanreminders switch? I'll look it up.

I ended up fixing the problem by exporting all info after 1990 into a new
calendar, and pulling in the mail folders.

Thanks for the response.
