Hello,
When I create an appointment for which I will use a conference line I choose insertsignature and choose a signature that has my phone information included. Aside from the oddness of sometimes not having "signature" available on the Insert menu, I've encountered something very strange. I changed my phone number and updated the number in my signatures. On mail messages I can choose signatures, and they all have the updated number - as expected. However, when I insert a signature into an appointment, it inserts an old signature, not the updated one - and has ben doing so for several months now. Does Outlook use a separate signature processor for Calendar vs EMail? Is there some cache someplace that needs to be cleared to purge the old signatures? My current work-around is to open an email message with the signature I want, then cut-and-paste. Functionally that works, I just wonder about this odd behavior I was curious whether others encounter it and whether there is an easy fix. Thanks! - Dan |
