Default outlook birthday reminder

Hi,

in outlook 2003/2007 I've got some birthdays. In my calendar I can see these
birthdays as serial events. All fine.
I've set the warning time at 14 days.
Nothing happens. No sound. No popup.

With standard-events all is fine ....

Any help ?

Joerg
