Mysterious Date Change in Outlook

Default Mysterious Date Change in Outlook

When I export my contacts and email them home from the office something funny
happens to the dates. After I import the contacts all the dates for birthdays
and anniversarys are imported showing a date 1 day prior to the real date.
Does anyone know what is happening?

is the time zone and dst setting the same on both machines?
