Default focus date in calender on opening

my outlook never opens to today's date. Is there anyway to make the outlook
calender (when in month view) put the cursor on the current date?

Mine always does. What version of Outlook are you using?

Keep in mind, it should highlight the date, but that date might not be at the
top of the view -- it might be anywhere, and you might have to actually
scroll down to it as the beginning of the current Month should be at the top
of your view.
