I have an Exchange 2003 server with a Calendar accessible to users via
a Public Folder. Recently, someone moved the Calendar out of the folder in which it resided. They moved it back and now items that users owned prior they can no longer edit. It appears the move procedure caused ownership of existing Calendar objects to become "lost". The best option we have is to deleted the Calendar object for the user and have them recreate it which restores their original ownership. We have looked at giving them rights to regain control of the object, but this changes their overall rights to the public calendar which is not what we want. We have also looked at doing a restore of the public calendar, but we are unsure when the calendar move occured. If anyone has any ideas, I would be open to listen. Thanks... |
