Default Can only create appointment for today's date

Hi

When I select any date in the future then double click, the
appointment window opens but with todays date in the start and end
drop down boxes.
Even if I change tose dates to the intended future date, the
appointment is created for today.....
Many thanks for any help that can be offered.

Chris.
