We are running Exchange 2000 with Outlook 2002. I have created about 6
resource mailboxes, and each is assigned to one of conference rooms in the building. They all seem to be working except one called Meeting Room 1c. Whenever you book an appointment in there, it is displayed as 'tentative' in its calendar, when appointments created in the other rooms' mailboxes show correctly as 'busy'. The default permissions for this calendar are set as 'author' and meeting requests are set to automatically accepted. I even deleted this mailbox and created a new one with the same name, but the same symptons persisted. I cannot understand why this behaves this way when all the others are correct. Has anyone else encountered this issue? Thanks. |

Is someone assigned to be a delegate for that mailbox, and if so, do they have Outlook open? Are users booking appointments by specifiying that mailbox as a Resource, not a Required or Optional attendee?

No one is a delegate for that mailbox. I was logged in with an Exchange
admin account (with the mail profile set to the mailboxof the meeting room) on another citrix session to check that the appointments were being sent and received, but no one was actually logged in with the Windows profile of the mailbox. The room was indeed booked as a resource. Thanks. |
