I have a user that when he is sent a meeting invitation from at least 3
people that we know of right now, it comes in as a text message and not a meeting message. I can send him a meeting and it will be fine, he can also get meetings sent from the outside world and they will appear as a meeting. any ideas as to why this is happening? We are using Outlook 2003 (11.6568.6568) SP2. -- Thank you, R |

Is there anything in common about those three users? Are they using the same
version of Outlook, etc... "luv2bike2" wrote in message ... Just to update this: the problem has been solved. it was caused by another
problem.... the receiving Workstation did not have the most current MS updates, after receiving the updates the calendar invite came in as an invite instead of a text message. this will also be true when the sender does not have the most current updates and s/he is sending an invite to one that does not have the current updates the calendar invite will come up as a text message instead. hope this helps other people. -- Thank you, "luv2bike2" wrote: I have a user that when he is sent a meeting invitation from at least 3 people that we know of right now, it comes in as a text message and not a meeting message.
