Default Saving an appointment in Calendar failed.

When I try to SAVE and CLOSE a new appointment I get the message THE
OPERATION FAILED. That problem started since I removed my old Outlook and
kept the current one (Microsoft Outlook 2003). I have certainly done
something wrong. Any idea what could that be? Thanks
