Default Private AND Recurring

Why will Outlook 2003 or any other version for that matter not allow me to
make a recurring appointment private?

OL2007 seems to allow that. I don't have any other versions here to test
with so I can't say about the rest

how do you do it in OL2007? I am creating my appt and making it recurring,
then right clicking on the appt and Private is greyed out.

I clicked the little lock icon to mark it as private
