Most of the bookings on my calendar are listed as All Day Events. The
calendar keeps changing them to timed events and adds extra days. Is there a way to stop this from happening? Thanks... |

if it's changing them by an hour and full hours, you are accessing them
using two systems and the time zones are not identical on both. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Author, Teach Yourself Outlook 2003 in 24 Hours Need Help with Common Tasks? http://www.outlook-tips.net/beginner/ Outlook 2007: http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/ol2007/ Outlook Tips by email: Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Subscribe to Exchange Messaging Outlook newsletter: "DrBGM38" wrote in message ... I schedule my meetings a week at a time. In doing that, I always check the
"All Day Event" box. It stays that way for a while, but then changes to a timed event. The "All Day Event" boxes are unchecked for each appointment. This happens without syncing a pda. Any suggestions? Thanks... Yes, when it switches the timed events are 24 hours, which stretches the
scheduled meeting out for another day. As I said before, this is not only happening with the meetings I put on the calendar, but with the holidays, too. It stretches Christmas out for two days, July 4th two days, Father's Day two days, etc. No, my laptop is an HP and I am using Outlook 2007. However, this was already happening when I was using Outlook 2003. "Diane Poremsky" wrote: But is the timed event 24 hrs long? Do you use a Dell laptop with media direct? Is it changing them to like 1 am to 1 am or staying on 12 am to 12 am? It's
classis symptoms of time zones issues - the appt were created with the computer on a different zone or on a different computer that used a different zone. to fix it, see http://www.outlook-tips.net/archives/2004/20041012.htm -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Author, Teach Yourself Outlook 2003 in 24 Hours Need Help with Common Tasks? http://www.outlook-tips.net/beginner/ Outlook 2007: http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/ol2007/ Outlook Tips by email: Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Subscribe to Exchange Messaging Outlook newsletter: "DrBGM38" wrote in message ...
