I have my autoarchive to archive all calendar items over 2 months old -
this is fine and the appropriate archive folder contains the expired
items.

In the calendar properties - autoarchive tab - i have also chosen the
"Permanently delete old items" radio button - in the thinking that
after archiving the appointments over 2 months old - the expired items
would be deleted from my personal folders calendar. However, this does
not happen - the copy to the archive folder is fine - so all appears to
be ok datewise - but deletion from personal folders calendar does not
occur.

My question is: should deletion from the personal folder occur - or
does automatic deletion aplly only to email items and not calendar ?
