I was under the impression that SharePoint and Outlook 2007 could share just
about anything. I want to place the Outlook personal calendar on My Site in SharePoint. MOSS 3.0 |

Not possible as SharePoint uses OWA to publish your calendar and everything
else you want from your mailbox, which all sits on Exchange, not personal folders. -- Milly Staples [MVP - Outlook} Please post all followup questions to the newsgroups only to keep the discussion intact. Actually, as it turns out, there is a web part that will connect with the OWA
server and display the calendar. This is a disappointing solution. I am in charge of configuring the intranet of an organization and have spoken with 2 Microsoft reps who lead me to believe that SharePoint and Outlook could ultimately be 2 views of the same data. My original solution plan was for anyone who felt more comfortable in Outlook to do most of their work there and link to common SharePoint pages. Anyone more comfortable in SharePoint would work there and link their Outlook data in My Site. Between the new version of Exchange Server, SharePoint being called "Office SharePoint" and Office 2007 integration, I assumed it was a slam dunk. It now seems as though the design plan will be to train people to work primarily from Outlook. What "personal calendar" ? You can publish the exchange mailbox calendar and
link SPS calendars to outlook but if you link, the calendar won't be stored as your default calendar (import the outlook cal to sps then link it to outlook). -- "cubelodyte" wrote in message ...
