I went to file - new - folder and created a new calender (seperate from my
personal calender) that I wanted our team at work to share. I granted
permision for one of our team members to be an "author" on this new calender.
When he tried to add the calender the message he got was: " Unable to
display the folder. The calender folder could not be found." We use outlook
2003. Any suggestions on how to remedy this situation?

To access a shared folder that isn't one of the folders listed on the File | Open | Other User's Folder dialog, the mailbox owner needs to grant "folder visible" permission to the root of the mailbox and any other parent folders of the shared folder, as well as appropriate permission -- at least Reviewer -- on the shared folder itself.

The user who needs access then goes into Tools | E-mail Accounts or Tools | Services (depending on the Outlook version), brings up the properties for the Exchange Server service, and on the Advanced tab, adds the mailbox.

I have granted permisions to the Mailbox - "My Name" and have also granted
permisions to the shared calender and added the mailbox in your second step.
I am still getting the same error message when the user tries to access the
shared calender. Any other suggestions?

I'm a little confused about your description of what you've done. You need to set permissions, but it's the other user who needs to add your mailbox to the settings for their Exchange account. Do they see the folder in the folder list if they expand your mailbox?
