Have a situation where Meeting Responses are not tracking. I have consulted
these communities as well as other forums on the Internet and have been unable to find a resolution to this issue. Particulars: Exchange 2000 / Outlook 02-07 The meeting responses are being sent and being received. When they are received, they are not being processed by a rule that is moving them into a different folder. Yet they are not tracking. I can open each receipt and close it, I can mark it as read, makes no difference, they still are not showing on the tracking tab. I have verified that all of the options in Outlook are correct based on other posts in these forums. I have even checked the Exchange forums and have been unable to find a resolution. Any other ideas or solutions that someone may have run across? |

When you say "I can open each receipt and close it...", are the organizer of
these meetings or are you opening someone elses responses? If these are someone elses responses, are you accessing them through your own profile or are you creating a profile to process them? Thank you for the response and sorry that part wasn't clear. I should have
said that the organizer can open and close the message (meaning they are processing it as read). We really don't use delegate scenario's with meetings. Each person organizes their own so there are no additional profiles to worry about. So if you are opening the responses from the INBOX and they are
not being talleyed, then... Have you checked the "Delivery Location" of the email account? Could the Calendar, that the meeting is being made in, be in a PST or a secondary calendar on the clients system? If the calendar is not the "System" calendar, then responses will not be talleyed. They also will not be talleyed if the delivery point is set for a PST. To check the "Delivery Location" in OL2003: Open the TOOLS menu Select E-MAIL ACCOUNTS Select VIEW OR CHANGE EXISTING E-MAIL ACCOUNTS then click NEXT Near the bottom of this window will be a small text box with the title: "Deliver new e-mail to the following location" Another thing to check is if the client is set up in CACHE MODE, is the synchronization working correctly? You may look to see if the client has a corrupt OST file. Nikki Peterson "Eric" wrote in message ... Thank you for the response and sorry that part wasn't clear. Another thought, a little out there but...
Could your client have a DELEGATE she has set up incorrectly? I have many clients that try to give others VIEW to their calendar by using the DELEGATION tab. This is incorrect but they do it. They should give permissions to their calendar by right-clicking on the calendar folder and setting it in the properties. Nikki Peterson "Nikki Peterson [MVP - Outlook]" wrote in message ... Nikki:
Thank you for your continued assistance. There are no delegates and the delivery of the messages is not going to a personal folder. The calendar is also the Mailbox calendar, not a PST calendar. This is a perplexing issue I know. "Nikki Peterson [MVP - Outlook]" wrote: Another thought, a little out there but... Could your client have a DELEGATE she has set up incorrectly?
