We use Outlook 2003 (SP1) and Exchange Server and are experiencing some
difficulties with the a pulbic calendar that is used for booking meetings and required resources. Only four people have write access to the calendar so all meetings are organised centrally. Everyone else has read only access. Within the group there are 70+ users. Here are the problems we are experiencing. 1. Calendar was invited (requested as attendee), the meeting showed in the meeting owners calendar but it did not appear in the project calendar. 2. Deleting one occurrence of a recurring meeting, can delete all other occurances. 3. When making changes to recurring meetings, the first meeting duplicates and the rest are updated. Why does it not update the first one? It means we have to delete the duplicated original. 4. We “lose” meetings. 5. When you open a meeting in the project calendar it drops into your own calendar. You have to delete it, making us wonder if this is the cause of problem number 4. 6. When you accept a meeting and type a response, the meeting does not always register in your calendar. Thanx for your assistance. |
