Is there a way to change the default times in the drop down box when entering
an appointment in my calendar to include quarter hours. I have a number of appointments that start on the quarter hour and last, for example, 45 minutes or 1 hour and 15 minutes. I know I can do this manually, but I am looking to find a way to use a drop down only. |

how are you creating the appointments? if you use a day view with a 15 min
time span, it should work as you expect. Otherwise, no, you can't change it in the selector - typing it in the form of 1.45p is faster than using the time selector. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Author, Teach Yourself Outlook 2003 in 24 Hours Need Help with Common Tasks? http://www.outlook-tips.net/beginner/ Outlook 2007: http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/ol2007/ Outlook Tips by email: Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Subscribe to Exchange Messaging Outlook newsletter: "jsobel" wrote in message ... Diane,
Thanks for your reply. I am entering appointments in day view by clicking new. The untitled appointment box pops up with Start time with date and 8:00AM in the drop down box, and with End Time with date and 8:30 AM in the drop down box. As far as my experiments have shown, 30 minutes is the minimum interval in the drop-down. However, you should be able to highlight the desired range and then click New. The start and end times should correspond to the selection. -- Brian Tillman [MVP-Outlook] |
