Default Group calendars

Hello,
I would like to set up a group calendar for our department initiatives. I
do not want to pull everyone's individual appointment, just major events and
such. I would like everyone to be able to use it, but also, since I am
temporary, I would like it to continue to exist after my user profile is gone.

If I create a group calendar in Outlook 2007, and there are other people who
are able to edit it, will it disappear when I do?

if you create a group calendar in public folders, it will remain when you
leave. The admin will need to remove you as owner and add someone else, but
it will continue to work.
