The default reminder for all day events is always 18 hours and must be changed manually. You cannot change that default.

I have a related problem;
an all day meeting recurring for 7 consecutive days and sent to an attendee (ie., sending an FYI copy) Every time, the attendee gets an error message when trying to accept the appointment; "The reminder for an occurrence of "meeting subject" cannot be set to appear before the previous occurrence. Shorten the reminder time or lengthen the recurrence period." I have changed the reminder time to zero minutes, then un-selected the reminder, BEFORE adding the 7 day recurrance - and my appointment recipient STILL gets this message. Any suggestions?? -- Michele B. Ohio ''''The event is not important, but the response to the event is everything.''''
