Default outlook 2003 appointments

I am unable to keep more than 30 days worth of appointments on my calendar.
For example I currently only have from Oct. 26 to Nov. 26. I need to know how
to make a settings change to allow me to keep all my appointments for at
least a year in the past

I already have autoarchive disabled completly, but it still removes my old
appointments. I also need old appointments kept so i can refer back to them
at a later date.

Unless you have autoarchive removing items, Outlook retains them
indefinitely.
