sharing calendars in Outlook 2003
I have created a second calendar and named it (not my name). I have added
permissions etc as normal. But the other person cannot see it when they click on open a shared calendar. It does not appear in the list when the name is typed in. If my name is entered, it just shows my main shared calendar, but I want to share the calendar in my calendar subfolder.

they need to add your mailbox as a secondary mailbox - then they'll see it.
