Default calandar archive not wanted

I am using Outlook 2003 and have got a problem with my calendar. I have
approx 12 years appointments / meetings /diary notes and I note that
recently has archived all but the last 6 months or so of my appointments.
How can I 'unarchive it'?
I want to have all appointments showing in my main calendar and not have to
click over to activate the archive calendar.
Also, I have many duplicated and triplicate appointments How best to remove
the duplicates ?

Hello,

To unarchive, open the archive folder | calendar folder. Then just drag and
drop from the archive to the calendar you normally use.

Tip: if you have many items to copy, it may be easier to see a table list of
all your items. Click View | Current View | Table to see a list of the items.

For removing duplicates, I would either do it manually from the table view
(takes a little while, but is easy and free and gives me control) or search
around for calendar duplicate detection addins for Outlook. I can't
recommend any personally, but have seen them now and then.

Be careful as these instructions will make you a sub-folder in your
Calendar:

"To unarchive, open the archive folder | calendar folder. Then just drag
and
drop from the archive to the calendar you normally use."

I suggest you select all of the contents of the Archived Calendar and drag
them and drop them in the "normal" Calendar. If you have already made the
subfolder, go there and select all the items and drag to your Calendar.
Then delete the subfolder by right clicking on it.

I cannot find this 'table view'. I understand that this view will display
all items in a table form thus making it easier to delete duplicates but I
cannot seem to get that view.
Any ideas pls ??

Table View is only available when you create a New view. Go to View/Current
View/Define Views/New.

no... most of the non-day/week/month views use the table format... like by
category, all events, etc.
