Hello,

We have a group that uses a shared calendar in Public Folders. The
coordinator of this group wishes to create an appointment on the shared
calendar, then send a meeting invitation to the member or members of the
group who "go with" that appointment. The problem is, when the coordinator
initiates the invitation on the shared Public Folders calendar, it also
creates an appointment on her personal Outlook calendar. Her permission
level has been Owner, Publishing Editor, etc. It doesn't seem to matter what
we do with permissions, it always puts a copy of the appointment on her
personal Outlook calendar. She does not want this.

Is there a way to use a central shared calendar in Public Folders this way,
without Outlook also creating an appointment on the default/personal Outlook
calendar of the originator? It's as if Outlook doesn't differentiate between
the shared Public calendar, and the owner's default calendar.

Any help would be appreciated.
