I have been adding travel arrangements via the 'Add to Outlook' button on the
American Airlines web site. Pressing the button opens an Outlook dialog, selecting Save add it's to my calendar in my Desktop Outlook. Works great... This newly added appt will not activesync to my Smartphone. If I make any changes to the appt, still won't sync. If I create new appt manually, cut and paste the data in, save.. syncs up fine. Appears to be a defect to me. Maybe not. Any suggestions? |

It is not an Outlook issue - if your smartphone will not synch it, then consult the documentation for your smartphone. You may need to look at either category synching or the time period synched.

Everything syncs fine on the Smartphone but those types of appts -- all
calendar item added manually, all tasks, email, etc... A manual appt the hour before or after the automatic appts are fine. Just the appts added via a .ics (iCalendar file) won't sync. Even when you make a change to them.. It's like they don't exist to ActiveSync... which make no sense.
