Ok, prevously used Office XP Oultlook Calendar, where you can color code your
appointments to mean something specific. You are able to go in and change the occurence color without a challenge and still leave your serious separate (ie; serious is all in orange becaue client is sheduled for regurlar appointments. However he calls in and is caneling for a specifc day. I normally turn his occurence into red for cancelling/rescheduling without affecting serious). I can't seem to do the same thing in window vista 2007 outlook. It will only allow me to change it as a serious which means everything would get changed to red and show all of the days as canceled. Help? |

Use Outlook's colored categories.
You can name each colored category to what you want. When you assign a colored category to one occurance of a series then it should categorize the whole series. It certainly does here. If it doesn't for you then post back with the exact steps you are using. "New WV 2007 Baby" New WV 2007 wrote in message ... The ability to change the category color on one occurence within a recurrent
series should definitely be made available. Not being able to change the color for a meeting I'm not attending -- but do not wish to remove from my calendar -- is not acceptable. Please put this feature back in one of the upgrades. Help? Color categories are all there are and, as you've pointed out, you can't add categories to single occurrences of recurring items. Sorry. -- Brian Tillman [MVP-Outlook] |
