Although I can easily share the same Business Contacts in Outlook 2007 with
Business Contact Manager among all five of my profiles on the same computer,
I cannot share the same calendar.

Is it possible to share the same calendar and even add tasks & appointments
in different profiles and it all updates to one calendar?

you can publish it to a webdav server - which can be your local computer
running IIS server, provided you use Windows XP Pro. Sharepoint server also
works well if you have it.
