I have set Customize Current View, Other settings, Time scale to 60 minutes, but new appointments still default to 30 minutes.
Is there anything else that needs to be set? (Outlook 2003) |

If you create a new appointment by clicking the new button when in the month
view, it defaults to 30 min, if you use the day or week view, it uses your setting. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Outlook Tips by email: EMO - a weekly newsletter about Outlook and Exchange: You can access this newsgroup by visiting http://www.microsoft.com/office/comm...s/default.mspx or point your newsreader to msnews.microsoft.com. You must be in a view with a time scale for the time scale setting to affect the default duration. -- Brian Tillman [MVP-Outlook] |

You don't need to go into the customize view dialog - just right click on
the time scale in day or week view and choose a new time scale. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com/ Outlook Tips by email: EMO - a weekly newsletter about Outlook and Exchange: Poll: What version of Exchange server do you use? http://forums.slipstick.com/showthread.php?t=33803 "tsmith" wrote in message ...
