... People use the most convenient feature of their software and double clicking to set up an All Day Event (for say a Birthday, or a day out of the office) is the quickest, simplest thing to do. As it's quick and simple most people won't spend the time looking through all of the options to change the reminder time for the Event. Since the principle of configurable reminders has been set for apointments can we not have an update to make Event reminders configurable and to save a lot of cursing at 6:00 am each time the alarm for a next day Event goes off ? Open a support incident with Microsoft and complain. If enough people do, perhaps they'll listen. -- Brian Tillman [MVP-Outlook] |

I too have been looking at the default time for events. Because I have synced
three different sources I have alarms going off a 23:45 as well as 06:00. I think the easiest way to sort this out is for the default alarm time to be set to the User's working hours setting I used to have this function when I used my Psion 5mx so it is possible. Dear Friends,
You guys are lucky you get it at 6 am in the morning. I'm in India and I get it at 12 midnight (Windows Mobile). It's quite disappointing to know that Microsoft did not provide any solution to this - usually they keep all sorts of settings in the registry and this one couldn't have been any more difficult.
