Default opening up others outlook

help me someone - this is driving me mad - on an old version of outlook you
could just give permission for someone to access and add to your outlook and
it was really easy - 2007 version i cant seem to do this - iv e tried on the
publishing but it will only let me see the other calendars as view only
somebody please help me :-)
