Cannot loacate reccurence information in Outlook 2007

I have 2 prior appointments that I can can not open of dismiss in my Outlook
2007 Calendar. I have actually deleted the appointments from my calendar,
but everytime I start Outlook 2007 my reminder window pops up with these 2
deleted appointments? How can I get rid of this problem?

Try running Outlook one time with the /cleanreminders switch. If that does
not work, then display your calendar by a table view and add the reminder
column to your view. Then sort by that column and look for the corrupt
items.
