Calendar reminder symbol missing in Outlook 2007
A VP at our company just asked me how to get the calendar reminder "bell"
icon back on his calendar appointments. In 2003, you see the bell on any appointment that has a reminder. It's missing in 2007. How can this be added back? Thanks Carmen

Calendar reminder symbol missing in Outlook 2007
Well would someone that does work for Microsoft please put the icon back. I
totally rely on it as I receive meeting notices from external companies and they quite often lose the reminder setting - particularly if they use Lotus. I don't get the 'clutter' argument - they kept the private, re-occur and attachment icons, what was the issue with the bell? Microsoft is aware of the complaints. I don't expect it back in 2007 though.

No, actually they don't have to put it back. If enough users ask for it,
they may consider it for the next version but there is nothing that says that they have to do anything with their software. Annoys me too.
I thought of an alternative. If you right click a meeting in Day view, you can select automatic formatting and you can set a rule with a condition. I did not yet figure out the exact rule but it will change the color of meetings with a reminder. "SBP" wrote: I also find it annoying and would like it back.
