Default Outlook calendar invitation

hi we have a little problem here.
the invitation works fine if we send it internally, but once we send it to
an external user (Outlook 2003 user), it translates that to a text message so
the external user can't accept or decline or offer any options to choose from.
Help please..
thanks

Default Outlook calendar invitation

I'm assuming you are using Exchange? is it configured to send RTF messages
as plain text? Does this happen to all meeting requests or just ones sent to
certain people?
