Default Cancellation of resource

when cancelling an invitation to a resource, only the status is changing to
´cancelled´ but the appointment itself is still visible. I know there is a
button to delete the appointment from the resources calender, but is there a
setting that when a resource is deleted from a meeting the appointment is
removed from the resources calendar?

Thanks
