When entering a new appointment directly into the day view or week view, it
appears there is a problem if the dragged out appointment area has a start time that is off the screen (out of scroll window) at the time you begin typing in the subject for the appointment. Outlook attempts to move the scroll view area to show the subject that you are attempting to enter into the appointment, but then the appointment also loses focus, so after the first letter nothing else is entered for the subject. You have to click on the appointment to edit it before you can add additional characters. I have not yet been able to find anything that mentions this problem in posts, or in the knowledge base. Is there a fix for this issue, has anyone else experienced this or is it documented? This problem only seems to occur if the begin time is outside of the scroll window, and not if the end of the appointment is out of the scroll view area. -- Michael Isaacs - MCP Programmer Analyst |
