Default Is there anyway to assign a meeting priority when scheduling?

When scheduling a meeting, I would like to assign a color (red = cannot move,
yellow = difficult, but possible to move, green = easy to move). Outlook
would then need to display these colors when inviting several people to a
meeting & then selecting the "scheduling tab" to view availability. This
seems like a simple way to determine the best possible day/time to schedule a
meeting.

Any chance there is an upgrade to Outlook that would allow this or another
product that could be installed to enhance scheduling?

This won't be in Outlook 2007 and AFAIK, there is not an add in that allows
it. you could try labels or categories to set a priority.

I work for a very large company of 40,000 people & we are constantly
scheduling meetings with very busy executives throughout the system. If all
EA's could assign a meeting priority color when sending meeting planners that
could be seen in the Scheduling view, it would make meeting planning so much
simpler. You could identify days/times where there are mostly green spots &
schedule the meetings at that time knowing that the meetings scheduled there
can be "easily moved." I think I've hit on a very easy fix to a huge
problem. I just wish I had the knoweldge to re-program Outlook to make it
work!
